Intuition has been defined as the immediate and instinctive perception of truth.
It is based on ability to contemplate & development of right brain skills, consciously or unconsciously.
Other names given to intuition are supervision, third eye, single eye, super conscious vision, astral vision, extra sensory perception, etc.
Intuition is different from logic or analytical ability.
It makes the essential difference between failure and success.
Successful managers have always been known to rely on their instincts. Weston H Agor found in a study that top managers in every organisations gave more importance to Intuition to make decisions on the job, as compared to middle and lower level managers.
Whether we admit or not, we inherently use intuition in our day to day decisions. It may be in selection of assignments, candidates, projects & so forth. Also, it plays a major role in our conscious choices which are somtimes unconsciously made by us even in personal matters.
In western countries, importance of intuition has probably been appreciated more in all fields.
Some people regard Intuition as a mere extension of common sense.
The skeptics find it difficult to believe in Intuition.
Intuition is much more than synergization of the thought process.
More than 90% of our waking time is spent on focusing on what we see in front of us.
If one focuses on analysis, numbers and logic, one spends more time using left brain.
If one is more creative and non-linear, you spend more time using Right Brain.
Every one has intuitive power ,you may not even know

Like the sub conscious mind has the speed of 30 billion bits per second and the consious mind has barely 5000 bits per second of processing speed, it is highly impossible for us to assess our intuition.
